Membership Information
Merit
Manitoba membership is available to open-shop construction companies,
having three employees or more.
Members pay a monthly benefit premium based on hours worked. The
2010 hourly benefit premium is $0.96/per hour. This rate includes
an administration fee of $0.08 per hour worked per field construction
employee. Companies with more than 100 employees pay an
administration fee at the rate of $0.06 per hour. For information

Additional Information
Premiums are the same for single and family coverage. A minimum
of 50% of the benefit costs must be paid by the employer.
