Membership Information
Merit Manitoba membership
is available to open-shop construction companies that have their
own construction workers on the job site.
Membership fees are
set so both large and small companies can take advantage of Merit
membership. Membership is paid monthly at the rate of $0.08 per
hour worked per field construction employee. Companies with
more than 100 employees pay at the rate of $0.06 per hour.
In addition, members pay monthly benefit premiums. Both the premium
and the membership fee are paid at the end of each month. For

Additional Information
Premiums are the same for single and family coverage. Up to 50%
of benefit costs can be shared with employees.
